I am delighted that the Welsh Labour Government has announced £500,000 to fund investment at Cantonian High in Cardiff.
The funding will enable Labour-led Cardiff Council to make site improvements to support new modular accommodation and provide for consequential improvements to the school site.
The investment is part of the Welsh Labour Government’s £1.4 billion 21st Century Schools and Education Programme, which aims to update school buildings across Wales. Around £164 million of investment has been earmarked for Cardiff Council through the 21st Century schools programme, half of which will come from the Welsh Government.
